PIKE CO., Miss. (WLBT) – A person was arrested and charged with cyber threats and intimidating a witness in Pike County.
On December 23, the Pike County Sheriff’s Workplace Prison Investigations Division developed an individual of curiosity in an ongoing investigation. In line with the sheriff’s workplace, Roderick V. Matthews, a member of the family of the particular person of curiosity, started sending threatening messages to the sufferer within the case.
Detectives and deputies then went to Matthews’ dwelling positioned at 1504 Pioneer Drive in McComb later that day. They discovered him hiding in an air duct inside the house.
His bond was set at $50,000.
